UPLAND BIRDS

There are currently great populations of upland birds. There are pheasants, sharp-tailed grouse, mountain grouse, and Hungarian partridges. This is a popular activity after you have harvested your big game animal. Group hunts are also offered for the bird enthusiast.

Sharp-tail and partridge season starts in early September through November. Pheasant season begins in early October and runs through December.
